The Land Use Law Center is pleased to announce the 17th annual Alfred B. DelBello Land Use and Sustainable Development Conference. Scheduled for Thursday, December 6, 2018, this year’s conference theme is Sustainable Development as a Market Driver. We invite you to spend the day at this educational event, with more than 250 attorneys, business professionals, and local leaders in attendance to learn about national, regional, and local innovations, challenges, and best practices. As in previous years, the Land Use Law Center has been working on developing a conference program that will showcase innovative best practices in land use and sustainable development. Currently, the Center is pleased to announce that this year’s opening keynote presenter will be Christopher Leinberger, a land use strategist, professor, real estate developer, researcher, speaker, and author, who balances business realities with social and environmental concerns. Mr. Leinberger will give a talk on The Walkable Urban Opportunities for Metropolitan NYC...It is Not Just the City. Also, joining us this year as the luncheon keynote presenter will be Sam Schwartz, resident, and CEO of Sam Schwartz Transportation Consultants a firm that specializes in transportation planning and engineering.
