Pace’s alumni career counselor Marilyn Kaufman returns for the Steer Your Career series building on the foundation of last year’s seminars that discussed building your network, personal branding, acing the interview, and resume building. The series will touch on topics from a new point of view, feature guest speakers, and share important tips on how to remain competitive as a job candidate in 2021—which is shaping up to include the biggest talent market of recent years.
Marilyn Kaufman is the Career Coach dedicated to Pace’s alumni population. She has worked in that capacity for over five years. Previously, Marilyn was a vice president of client relations at Gallup Consulting where she sold and delivered programs in executive coaching, leadership development and employee engagement to Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller, rapidly growing enterprises.
Marilyn brings her experience of having been a recruiter for two Fortune 500 Companies, Kraft and General Reinsurance to her career in coaching individuals. This experience allows her to clearly understand what employers want in order to translate these perspective to the individuals she counsels.
Marilyn holds an undergraduate and master’s degrees from Cornell University, as well as a master’s degree from Boston University. She is certified in a variety of assessment instruments including the Clifton StrengthsFinder™ Assessment and Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator. She is an American Society of Training and Development (ATD) Certified Coach.
