Sabrina A. McCoy Griffin '92 worked for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies for over 30 years from 1983 to 2016. During the span of her career, she has held positions in financial services, underwriting, regulatory compliance, and diversity management. She graduated with her MBA from Pace University after receiving her BS in Marketing and Management from NYU.

honors College Student Named a Truman Scholar

Taslim Tavarez '18 has been named a Truman Scholar, a highly competitive federal scholarship for juniors who demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to public service. She was selected based upon her policy proposal, which calls for increased accessibility to higher education for undocumented students in her home state of Florida.

Pace students are succeeding in research and advocacy, democracy, innovation, and chemical competitions, among other things. The Pleasantville Model UN team received the highest academic award at their conference, the NYC Mock Trial team advanced for the first time ever to the Opening Round Championship Series, and more!

Largely through the efforts of the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, Pace has been designated by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE) through academic year 2022.

Pace Inducts 2017 Hall of Fame Class

Chris Bayer '91, Kim Zornow-Wise '89, Patricia Thomas-Arscott '00, Luke Hirten '00, and James Stewart '71 were recently inducted into the Pace Athletics Hall of Fame. Gene Westmoreland '65 received the Peter X. Finnerty Leadership Award, and the 1976 Football Team was named the Team of Distinction. Congratulations to all of the honorees!
