53rd Annual Spirit of Pace Awards Dinner

Alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and students attended the Spirit of Pace Awards Dinner at the American Museum of Natural History on June 8. Honorees included William D. Zabel; Dianne A. M. Aroh '92; Audrey C. Murphy '79, '82, '87, '92; and Marcy Kelly, Professor and Assistant Chair of Pace’s Biology Department. NY1’s Cheryl Wills served as Mistress of Ceremonies.

Seidenberg School Names New Dean

After a national search, Jonathan H. Hill '07, DPS, was named Dean of the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, effective July 1, 2016. Dr. Hill brings a combination of experience in both academia and the private sector that spans nearly three decades.

U.S. Coast Guard veteran Juliet Cottodejesus is the most recent Pace student to be featured on New York PIX11 segments about veterans pursuing their education.

2016 Fulbright Winners

Three Dyson alumnae have won prestigious Fulbright Awards for 2016. Rachel Fauth '15 will teach English in South Korea, Kyla Korvne '15 will research female political participation and empowerment in Senegal, and Jessie Meredith '16 will conduct research on urban refugees in Jordan.

Hollywood Reporter’s Top Drama Schools

The Actors Studio Drama School and Pace School of Performing Arts have made “The Hollywood Reporter’s” 2016 list of the 25 Best Drama Schools for an MFA, and 25 Best Undergraduate Drama Schools respectively.


Pace Celebrates Pride Month

The Pace community celebrated Pride Month throughout June, culminating with the NYC Pride Parade. Earlier in the month, vigils were held in both New York City and Westchester in memory of the victims of the Orlando shooting.

Pace Baseball’s Brett Bittiger '15 Selected by Oakland Athletics in 2016 MLB Draft

Shortstop Brett Bittiger '15, who recently completed his final collegiate season with the Pace University baseball team as a graduate student in 2016, was selected in the 40th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball (MLB) First-Year Player Draft on Saturday, June 11, by the Oakland Athletics.

Pace Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Named CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams for Spring 2016

The Pace University men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named College Swimming Coaches Association of American (CSCAA) Scholar All-America teams for the spring 2016 semester, as announced by the CSCAA on Wednesday. Both teams were also named Scholar All-America Teams by the CSCAA after the fall 2015 semester.
