Spirit of Pace Awards Dinner
On Wednesday, June 10 at the American Museum of Natural History, Broadway legend, Oscar®, and Tony Award® winning star of Cabaret, Joel Grey, will serve as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies at the 2015 Spirit of Pace Awards Dinner. For over 50 years, this annual dinner has brought together the Pace community to celebrate our role as a leader in higher education. This year, we are proud to recognize three extraordinary individuals for their professional and personal accomplishments: Thomas P. Gibbons ’86, Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Bank of New York Mellon; Brian M. Pace University Announces $2 Million Gift from CBS Chief Operating Officer Joseph Ianniello '90
Joseph Ianniello '90, the CBS Corporation’s Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Pace University Board of Trustees, has made a $2 million commitment for the construction of a new athletics field house in Pleasantville. When completed later this year, the Ianniello Field House will be the flagship of Pace University Athletics.

Lubin Executive in Residence: Barry Klarberg '81, '85
Barry Klarberg '81, '85, CEO and founder, Monarch Business and Wealth Management LLC, recently served as Lubin's Executive in Residence in Westchester. Mr. Klarberg, who also holds ownership stakes in the New York Yankees, the Memphis Grizzlies, and the New York City FC, a professional soccer team, gave an outstanding and insightful lecture on Translating Business Principles to the Real World: Strategies for Managing Athletes and Entertainers. He infused real life business scenarios with relevant anecdotes from his business and personal life, noting that his work is not magic, "it's and demand. I take an athlete or entertainer, and apply the basic concepts of what I learned here at Pace University."

Wilson Center Alumni Reunite
The Helene & Grant Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship held its first annual Wilson Social at Harry’s Café & Steak in Lower Manhattan. The Summer Funded Internship program, now in its sixth year at the Wilson Center, has funded more than 80 interns and student aides alike at 49 unique nonprofits or social enterprises throughout the NYC metro area. An evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres with T-Bone, our university mascot, provided an opportunity to reconnect this strong and growing network of Pace alumni and students.

Veterans Entrepreneurship Boot Camp Featured on National Television
Professor Bruce Bachenheimer, Executive Director of Pace’s Entrepreneurship Lab, and the Veterans Entrepreneurship Boot were recently featured on the national television shows Hiring America and Sci Tech Now.
