Awards Honor Leaders in LGBTQA Community

Alumni are invited to the LGBTQA Center’s 3rd Annual Lavender Awards on April 24. “The Lavender Awards is essential to the institutional memory of Pace University's LGBTQA community,” notes Roberto “Berto” Chavez, former e-board member of the Stonewall Coalition. “It is students who come to events, who lead discussions, who enrich campus life. It is students who form clubs, go to marches, host mixers, raise money for charities, and throw celebrations; and these student leaders also come and go and sometimes aren't given the proper praise for their efforts. At the Lavender Awards the Pace community takes a moment to recognize and honor the hard work of its student leaders, alumni, faculty, and staff committed to making the university a better place for its LGBTQA student body. This ceremony is meant to document and preserve that legacy.”  >> Register online

The Eleventh Annual Pace Pitch Contest
The Entrepreneurship Lab is pleased to present the Eleventh Annual Pace Pitch Contest on April 16. Based on the Elevator Pitch concept, which is popular in the venture capital community, Pace Pitch is an extremely concise presentation of an entrepreneur's idea, business model, marketing strategy, competitive analysis, and financial plan, which is delivered to potential investors. Each Finalist will have exactly three minutes to pitch their new venture idea to a distinguished panel of judges and an enthusiastic audience. To join our cheering section, please register here.
